Hello,
occassionally when i get sent a file on MSN windows very kindly blocks me from opening it, not only this but it deletes it too.
It uses the excuse that it was an unsafe file, but it is virus scanned before hand and i know who is sending it to me, i am big enough and ugly enough to make my own mistakes. This has happened a few times now and all windows suggests i can do is right click on the file and "unblock" it, now this would be an inconvience but i would do it happily if i could, but windows deletes the file completly which is even more annoying.
anyway to stop if doing this? The info box says that it is SP2 doing the damage.
Also i have turned the windows firewall off but i know that when i restart my computer it will go mad at me over this and pop up a little ballon telling me that its turned off and that i had better turn it back on before terrorist take over my computer to use for planning attacks (or something to that effect) is there a way to tell windows to shut up and leave me wreck my own computer if i want to? i have a firewall on my router so its not really needed.
Thanks
(i ran a search on some vague words to the affect of this problem but came up with blanks...sorry)
