Windows dilema

Tried to reinstall 8.1 today but this time it kept refusing the key. Microsoft inform me that I've been a victim of piracy - that will teach me to buy software from ebay.

So my choice seems to be, buy another copy of 8.1 or use the technical preview of 10 and buy 10 when it's released. What would you do?

Try 10 and if you find issues then buy 8. Nothing lost that way and 10 will probably be fine.

Win 8.1 evaluation till 10 is out imo

Using Win10 without a hitch here, it's great.
I've ditched Win7 to use Win10 and will pre-order it as soon as I can.

I'd go Win10, why not?

I would wait till the new ISO is released of windows 10, should be out in the next week and then use that till its released.

only other option apart from that is to buy a cheap copy of windows 8.1 which from what I have read you will be entitled to a free upgrade to 10
