When I have finished calibrating the colour on windows... I press "current calibration" and then the screen looks great (not too bright, not too dark etc) for a few seconds then switches back to this really bright color for some reason.

Does anyone know how to trouble shoot this?

Usually it puts up a message saying something like do you want to keep this setting and gives you about 15-20 seconds to answer before returning to the old setting

Yeah I thought this but it does not happen..

I mean calibrating colour I think I know what you are talking about but it is not the same..

open start menu type in "calibrate" and "calibrate display colour" should pop up and that is what I am using.

Could it be because I have F.lux installed?

I'd say it was a prime candidate. If you're trying to calibrate your screen the last thing you want running is something constantly fiddling with the colour temperature!

Yes I understand hahha but when it is exited (processes killed) It is still very bright, when it does exit the colour temp returns to normal however Its still overly bright and the same thinghappnes again... it is a good colour then flickers back to being very white after a few seconds.

Are you using proper calibration software or just the built in Windows options? Have you got accompanying hardware that is measuring the ambient light?

Built in windows as staed on post 3... what do you mean accompanying hardware? what can measure ambient light? my display is a LG D2342P 3d montior (24in) at 1920x1080..
