Hi, I'm possibly getting a new drive to put my development environment on, and I'm looking at Bitlockering it, potentially with a TPM. I've read that dual booting on a single drive with a TPM can be troublesome, but I can't seem to find examples of using Bitlocker and the TPM on an entirely separate drive. Does anyone here have any experience with it?
I want to separate development with leisure, and my SSD is pretty much full as it is (grumble grumble Warzone grumble) so I'd be buying a whole new SSD for my Dev OS. Would it be as "simple" as pop in the new SSD, install Windows, stick the TPM in and enable in BIOS, then turn on Bitlocker on the required OS?
Is this setup likely to cause issues on my other drive/OS? Or if I need to upgrade components, I'm assuming I'd be safest to disable Bitlocker on the Dev drive first to be safe.
