Windows Easy Transfer

The motherboard on my old laptop failed. I've got a new laptop & put the old laptop's hard drive in a USB enclosure.
Can I use Windows Easy Transfer to get the user accounts, documents etc off of the old drive or do I have to manually transfer everything across?
There are no Easy Transfer backups on the old drive.

I have never used WET, so I couldn't really say. Manually grabbing documents from each user is easy though. On XP everything is in C:\Documents and Settings\username. On Vista\7 it is C:\Users\username.

I used it to transfer my user profiles from Vista to Windows 7, worked a treat.
