Hiya, having a few probs with new HTPC build;

Abit Fatal1ty F-190HD
E2140 w/ Alpine 7
2x 1Gb OCZ PC2-6400
500Gb seagate
Antec NSK2400 w/ 380W PSU

Firstly windows wasn't installing correctly, constantly crashing, freezing during install but I managed to get a clean install done, then whilst installing NET framework from driver disc it rebooted and came up with the following error;

BCCode: 1000000a BCP1: F0C85FEC BCP2: 0000002 BCP: 0000001
BCP4: 80515662 OSVer 5_1_26-- SP 2:0 Product 256_1

anyone got any ideas?

Thanks a lot

You dont specify which OS you are installing. But if its Vista, try lowering the memory speed to 667 in Bios and re-install. There seems to be a number of people having issues with Vista and this speed memory. I am guessing the memory is corrupting the files you are installing.

t'was XP,

I think I may have sorted it out, checked the bios and the default mem voltage was 1.8V, upped that to 1.95 (standard default range according to the OCZ site should have been 1.9-2.0( and things seem stable atm.

don't want to jinx things but we'll see lol

cheers howie
