Windows Event Log Replayer

Hi. I'm developing a monitoring application and I need to be able to export a particular server's Windows application event log, and then take that to the machine I'm developing on and 'replay' the events into my own machine's application event log. It will allow me to define and create the monitoring on my laptop without affecting the production server. Anyone know of such a utiility?
