Is the WEI comparable across different versions of Windows?

On the Aero graphics my old Vista64 setup got 5.0 and my new W7x64 gets 4.3. Different cards in each, so does that mean the 'old' card is better?

IIRC the Vista64 has a GF9500GT 512MB and the W7x64 has a GT620 1GB

Vista topped out at 5.9 iirc, Windows 7 is 7.9, so the scale is different. Might as well be calculated in fluffy ducks though

you aren't comparing like for like, even on identical hardware the scores would vary when you change version of windows.

It's up to 9.9 on Windows 8 for what it's worth. Just one performance measure that no one uses.

Just to show you how useless it is I have a GTX 690 which it scores 6.5, its my lowest score when really it should be my highest
