Windows Explorer Alternatives [XP]?

hi, I was looking for something better than what comes with XP. Have used ExplorerXP but thats quite old now, are there any other free quality file management programs that are worth trying??

My god, the last time I had to install a "file manager" was waaaay back in the days before Windows 3.1.

The last file manager I needed because the basic OS version wasn't good enough was Xtree Gold.

Seriously, what do you need that Explorer can't do?

Usable rename on multiple files, rename by file attributes (great for pics) amongst other things. Dual display, dual tree file listers. Faster and more robust copying than Windows Explorer. Better support for copying to/from a location where duplicate files exist either way.... I could go on for pages, but I'll stop there.

OP: get yourself a copy of Directory Opus as suggested, you seriously won't regret it.
