Hi i need some advice if it's possible?..

I recently installed XPise onto my XP Pro 32bit (but have since unistalled it) and now everyday i get an error saying windows explorer has encounted a problem and needs to close?

My system seems to just refresh itself i.e..i lose all desktop icons and taskbar for a second, then they re-apear..any ideas how i could fix this..or does it sound like i need a fresh install?...which i'd rather not do if it could be avoided.

Regards.Sleek.

I found this under 'known incompatabilities' on the Xpize website

The files ntdll.dll and shlwapi.dll may cause explorer.exe crashes.

u could try downloading new versions of these files (not sure safe this is), otherwise using your windows disk to repair the install might fix it.

also, did Xpize add any shell extensions?
