Windows Explorer stopped working

OK, not much to go on there.

1: Check your Event Viewer logs under System and Application at the time of an Explorer crash. Either post the error codes/Event ID here or look it up.

2: If you installed any new software just prior to the messages, try removing the software. Does the problem go away?

Under the details tab, guess it is the same as general tab.

What is the Event IDs for the entries?

The details pane is useless to me without all the other info.

Is there any pattern to the errors? Is it whenever using a certain program or if you open a particular folder?

perhaps you installed a program that has Windows explorer integration (when you right click, you can use the program) and it has an error. Uninstall all software that has been installed since the problem happened one at a time, until you are a week before the first error.

If you still get problems, then i would worry a lot more!
