Windows folder won't delete on old hard drive

I am trying to delete the windows folder on my old hard drive but no matter what permissions I give myself, it won't delete.

The folder is around 20gb and I really need the extra space as this HDD is now my second HDD. I want to use it as a back up.

The folder is from an old 64bit Vista install.

Try unlocker, its a free program that can get rid of most locked files. Either that or take ownership of the folder and all sub folders (then delete)

folder properties > security > advanced > owner
