Windows folders

Hello all,

When I double click to open a sub folder it opens in a new window. I think it may have something to do with this..

It does this with all folders

Open my computer > Tools > Folder Options > on the general tab under "Browse Folders" whats it set to?

If its any help my folder options in your 1st pic is set to explore and not open.

Have you clicked on restore defaults to see if that worked?

Set the default to open, I just tested myself and it seemed to open a new folder when default was explore

just tested it too, set the default to open

Set it to open and still don't seem to have had any effect
