Hey

I was just wondering do you guys know where I could get Windows Formatting/Wiping discs. You know the one you boot off of and format Windows and install it again but using the Product Code. I have a Vista and HP XP ones but I need to access all the other ones.

Thanks

Which version of Windows? You have confused the issue by asking for "all the other ones." You will only need one to reinstall Windows.

If the Product Key you have came from the sticker on your PC/laptop, then you will need an OEM disc of whatever version of Windows the Product Key applies to. If it is a Retail code any non-OEM disc will do as long as it matches the version and edition of Windows the key applies to.

By saying all the other ones I meant other versions of Windows. I need as many of the dics as possible. I use them at work but can't get them for myself. I use a keyfinder or the sticker to get the code. HP and OEM dics are specific as well as the fact that you need to use the right version of Windows CD (like Windows XP Professional CD won't wirk with a Windows XP Home edition PC). That's what I meant by all of them.

if you just want to 'remove windows' download 'EasyBCD' it will remove an unwanted windows boot if your doing what i think your trying to do?

Sorry...let me try rewording the question:

I need bootable CDs of as many as possible versions of Windows (XP Home, Xp Pro, Vista Premium, 7 Home Premium, Ultimate) you know all of them which allow me to reinstall Windows - NOT REMOVE IT. Just REINSTALL. The ones which you have to type the Product Code in from the sticker.

why do you want 'as many as possible' what are you trying to set up?
you won't get an answer from these people untill you tell 'everything' :D

so do you just want standard windows install disks? each with unique cd-keys?

It sounds like he has, or deals with, various machines all with different OS versions and editions. He wants various media at his disposal, presumably so he can more easily repair them. Since we all know no one creates or looks after their recovery discs.

Though I am not sure why the OP was asking for cheese when he wanted bacon...

Finding Retail/RTM ISOs for XP, Vista and 7 should be easy. Getting OEM versions is another matter.
