windows freezing on right click when winamp is active?

hello all, just want to pick your brains for a moment and ask you about this problem i have had for a long time now, basically whenver im listening to music through winamp and i rightclick a file, windows becomes incredably slow and even freezes for seconds at a time, the effect also makes the current song pause a jerk slightly, i cant figure it out for the life of me but it only happens when winamp is active.

If anyone can shed light it would be most helpful

do you just have winamp running or do you have other programms on?
also when did this 1st start?

its been a problem as long as i can remember, ive just always left it the way it is, ive tested it and it is only winamp, everythings fine with it disabled, its only a minor niggle i jus thought id ask here if anyone had anything similar happen to them
