Windows Hanging often since reinstallation

If it makes a difference I setup a raid array as I now have to sata drives.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly but as often as every 10 minutes the entire operating system will hang. Nothing will respond. Not the start bar, not internet explorer, msn messenger WMP etc... (Music or videos actually stop for and once it responds again it plays super fast to catch up to where it should be if it hadnt hanged).

Anyone any idea what is going on?

It's vista BTW.

Anyone got any idea what this could be? I doubt having my two HDDs setup as a raid array would cause it,..... would it?

Was it a clean install, what version of Vista and is your PC overclocked would be good info to have.

Complete clean install, legit copy, Vista ultimate and no overclocking.

The only difference is this time i have two HDDs setup in a raid array.
