Does anybody know whats going on here?

This machine is running Windows 7 Pro and the drive is mapped to a target on Windows Home Server v1.

The drives are 2 x 2TB WD Reds in good health, when I only had 1 x 2TB drive in there, the status bar was as expected.

I know it doesn't really matter, but it would be nice if it worked.

Thanks

Normal for WHS v1 afaik as I had the same, the networked drive doesn't see the whole capacity (just for one disk I believe) but it sees what's being used. That is of course if that drive is a bunch of drives expanded with Drive Extender?

It never caused any issues for me, just don't use it to gauge what capacity you have left :p

Yes I've tried disconnecting the drive, rebooting both the client and the server and then remapping the drive. It doesn't fix the issue.

I think that deceptor is probably right with drive extender. It worked when I had one drive in there, since adding a second it doesn't register correctly.

It should read 3.37Tb free out of 3.58Tb, but instead it's picking up the capacity as 1.79TB which is the capacity of one drive.

How annoying!

IIRC Windows has some issues generally (beyond just fs format) with regard to properly supporting volumes over 2TB (~1.79 formatted).
