windows home edition

hello people,

my cousins got windows xp home edition but has a corrupt or missing file.

the only i cd i have to repair is the xp proffessional, can i still repair it with the proffesional cd? or do i have to get the home edition??

Surley one of your mates has a home edition somewhere just let him borrow one of those and put his key in instead of theres
