at this point in time im trying to connect it to my uni network so it can wirelessly send internet to me and my mates but it doesnt seem to get the internet like a normal computer gets it??

the quick answer is no, what you want to do violates WHS terms of use, im sure it can be done but the simple way would be to just buy a cable router with wifi (a router with a rj45 port for internet not a rj11) and use that for what you want to do, will cost u like £20 for a brand X one

WHS is designed to be at the end of a cable. You will likely break it if you try to use it as a router. Easier just to use a router tbh!
I have broken WHS once by playing around . . . .
