Windows Home Server

there isnt a 'latest' version of WHS. - its based on 2003 though to answer your question. and its x86 (32bit)

I was lead to believe there was WHS2003 (XP Based) and WHS2008 (Vista/7 based)? I'm currently trialling 2008 downloaded from Microsoft.

there is a new version coming out, but thats in beta stages at mo, and most likely the only channels you would get that from are via torrents tbh.

It's 64Bit only like Windows Home Server 2008 R2. The CPU I'm using on my WHS (1.73Ghz Celeron M) doesn't support 64Bit.

Is the version OcUk sell version 2008? :).

When is the windows home server being released thats based on 2008 then?

Cant find anything on it

Ahh whs 2008 is just a version containing PP1? right?

Ahh seems I was getting confused between WS and WHS, thanks for clearing that up :). It's a shame my CPU doesn't support 64Bit otherwise I would have waited for WHS V2

WHSv2 has a long way to go before release I think, a leaked version is out if you want to have a nose around.

WHSv2 will be 64bit only and based on 2008r2 :P
