windows install failure

Have installed windows 8.,1 on a new ssd but after the installation on the ssd it keeps going back to install from the beginning:"select language keybpard input" etc.
I have tried going into cmd but not entirely sure what to do.?

its a cd. Choose boot priority?

Will try the priority thing but this x99 uefi is more comprehensive than x79

you install windows 8.1 from CD, after its installed the PC reboots and then goes through the same process again from the first install?

sorry I cant be much more help, I have not had any dealings with X99 or X79 systems with UEFI

Exactly. I havent seen anything like this before unless the ssd is faulty?

When choosing the ssd as 1st priority and try to go into widnows 8.1 for first time I get "A disk read error occured"
Brand new ssd faulty???

Right I installed it and chose my ssd as first priority. It loaded to a black screen:However i pressed f8 at start up and chose the ssd and i loaded windows. Whats the reason for this???
