Hi,
Just posting on the off chance, a patch on friday/saturday seems to have killed my windows 7 x64 install. It will not boot in any mode (gives a 7b stop error) and startup repair says it cannot fix the problem and lists the root cause as 'bad patch'.
Any ideas? (I do not have a backup of this machine)
I am now gearing up to do afresh install on a new hdd and start moving things over. If there is anything I could try though to save the exisiting install I am willing to give it a go.
All hardware is ok no malware or anything and I cann access everything on the drive fine.
Cheers
