Ok so after I overclocked my cpu my system wouldn't boot back into windows and would just keep posting over and over again. So i tried re-installing windows and now after it installs and says it has to restart it gives me the option to install windows again! It doesn't give me the option to continue with the install. What would the reason for this be? Dead motherboard or HDD? Or...

I did try resetting the cmos with the jumper but i haven't took out the battery, i reset the bios a few times and tried to set it back to stock settings. I re-tried installing windows again and if it doesn't work i will re-try clearing the cmos

AHHHHH! Thanks guys. I had set it to keep on booting from the usb and didn't change it back to boot from the HDD.

honosuseri, it wasn't a SSD. But that was the problem. Can't believe i didn't think of that

I will remember that when I upgrade to a SSD thanks. I haven't checked if it's in ACHI yet but i haven't ran into any problems so far

Edit: Yup, it's in ACHI
