Windows Installation date?

Is there a way to find out when Windows XP Home was installed?

Just wondering as I’m getting a new HDD delivered tomorrow and planning to use the same COA. I read somewhere you can use again after 120 days (4 months?).

Yes, it is a OEM version.

I found a file called "WPA.bak" folders in windows/system32 which a friend told me to look for and it has a date of According to the file, it says 12 September 2007, 13:32:08. So I guess that should be the date I installed or activated windows?

Just out of interest, is there a way to recover the installation code I used?
