Well after a deciding to reformat my harddrive, I just installed windows over itself. BAD idea as everyone on here should know 
- anyway after doing that and realizing it twas a rubbish idea I changed the boot order and formatted properly (ish) and during that installation I received errors in the initial windows installation.
I formatted again received the same errors - and so far, I have had to replace one dll to make my sound work. However, my mouse - razer diamondback does not want to install itself either with windows default drivers or razer's.
I've tried the mouse on another PC and it has worked fine and installed itself as a HID Compliant Mouse - yet I am not sure if (like the sound card) there is another dll that corresponds with this?
