Quick question for you guys.
Does the size of the hard drive determine how much space a windows installation will use?
Reason I ask, I've just swapped out my old 750gb hdd for a 120gb ssd.
Cloned the hard drive rather than did a fresh install.
Now space left on my ssd is only about 60gb, so its pretty much used half the space and I don't think there's 60gb worth of stuff on there. So im thinking maybe because I installed windows on my 750gb one its used more of the drive hence why the new ssd is half full...

Please feel free to help me out...

No it does not, it's just due to Windows building up files over time. A fresh install can be around 30gb odd but I noticed on my work PC over a good few years it built up to 55gb and I was only using a 64gb SSD. Disk Cleaner wasn't doing much either.

I did find this and it did manage to scrape back 20gb of space, could give it a go, but use at your own risk as it might unexpectedly remove something important, so do a backup before hand: https://www.homedev.com.au/Free/PatchCleaner

So far there's been no issues on mine.
