Just woke up started my PC up as normal whilst I go and make a fresh cup of coffee, Windows will no longer boot.
wouldnt start in safe mode or Last known good config either. I had issues with Belkin software and and recently had to reinstall as the belkin software doesnt work properly with X64 Vista.
I suspect my problems are either down to a Windows updates or a failing hdd, or an issue with RAID. I am running a asus a8n32-sli board with raid 0, currently. As my machine could not boot in any way, I deleted my array the bios now detected the drivers as 3rd and 4th IDE drives.
Next I inserted my Windows Vista disk. Now this is what is puzzling me. Its only showing 1 hdd. I have 2 SATA drivers installed (2xmaxtor 250GB) I clear the partition and create a new partition but then get no futher with the message 'Windows is unabe to find a system volume that meets its criteria'
I have now hit a bit of a brick wall, suggestions please.
