Windows Keys?

Hi all,

Does anybody know if you can buy ( from a reputable site :S?) just the activation key for windows 7? As i have it installed and would like to activate it

Its Windows 7 Ultimate if it makes a difference ?

The websites that do sell them cheaply always end up getting the keys blocked, since they're typically MSDN keys that they sell multiple copies of

Buying from a real shop or from MS are the only choices

I think you have to phone up Microsoft, or you can do that anytime upgrade thing which basically gives you a new serial, I think

You might as well get the software as well, you won't get it any cheaper just buying the product key.

Ok guys, thanks for the advice. If I was to purchase just the home edition, would I have to reinstal again as I currently have ultimate installed ?

Yes, as the Home Edition key will not activate the Ultimate edition.
