windows license - will not accept F8 ??!!

I'm trying to do a repair on windows, but I can't get it to accept the license agreement it just doesn't repsond when I press F8. The other keys work escape, page up and down.
Please help a poor noob ?

press the function ( Fn) key on your keyboard the F keys are turned off

When i first got my microsoft keyb i was annoyed that i couldnt get it to work and it just turned out it was because i didnt have f-lock on

Call me an idiot but what exactly is the point of an f-lock key? Do modern keyboards have some kind of additional controls bound to them or something?

yes they do mine has the office shortcuts maped to the altenate F keys

Flock or Fn give you the F keys back
