For me and somebody else, http://local.live.com/ + Firefox =
Local%20Earth.jpg

Using the lastest version of Firefox, cleared temporary internet files and cookes, and still doesn't work.

Funnily enough, Internet Explorer 6 loads it up first time.:mad:

Any ideas, workarounds or soloutions?

I know it probably doesn't help your situation much, but it works fine in Firefox 1.0.7 here so it's not a case of it not being compatible.

I'm finding the "launch" of live.com has made Windows Live Local a right pain in the rear for me (a Firefox user).

Just now I spent about ten minutes trying to navigate to the map view which used to be located at http://local.live.com. Now that URL just takes me to a page with a header, two form inputs ("What" and Where") and copyright information in Firefox. All I wanted to do is look up an address, but this search form refuses to accept such information and throws up no results no matter what I search for. I managed to get to the map view eventually, but not without a lot of pain and suffering.

Funnily enough navigating to the same URL in Internet Explorer takes you straight to the map view...

Is Adblock enabled? If so, disable it for that page?
