Windows Live Mail 2012 to Thunderbird?

I'd like to export everything from Windows Live Mail 2012 to Thunderbird, but can't figure out an easy way.
Can anyone recommend any software that would make it easy to switch?

I'd like to export:
All accounts and passwords (Gmail)
All emails, so they are maintained in their correct accounts and created sub folders.
All contacts/address book.


To backup/restore WLM2012, I just copy and paste one folder to/from another drive.
Is it possible to backup/restore Thunderbird the same?

You should be using imap so the folder structure is on server not in your client.

You won’t be able to export the account, it’s not hard to put in your address and password though. Thunderbird is easy to set up.
