Windows Live Mail Beta is slow, is it for you?

Hi,

Been using it for a while now i like it, but it is slow for me sometimes and even comes up saying if your using a slow connection click here for the basic version. i have 4mb ntlworld so my net connection can't be that slow.

was wondering if other people have had similar experiences and if you have solved them, or because it is beta do we have to put up with it.

Yes, similar problem here, often takes ages to load. My solution . . . . use gmail!

was about to post the same

hotmail is rubbish, i use outlook to check mine (i never use it for anything new now)

gmail web interface rocks, and its superfast!

Try out desktop live mail beta. Been using it for awhile and it's great.

now this may be a daft question but can you check your hotmail emails using gmail?

also looking at "desktop live mail beta".

is windows live beta a dead thing now have microsoft just left it? is thats why it's brick slow?

hotmail used to allow you to forward mails to any account for free, i tihnk you now have to pay, so you can't get your hotmails in gmail (i may be mistaken)

its not THAT much of a hassle to change email...

btw, made this when i was REALLY bored last year..

not really keen on changing my email. will just look at the other options or live with it.
