Windows Live Mail Contacts Help?

Hey all, just installed Windows 7 on a friend's pc and downloaded Windows Live Mail, I have moved his contacts from his old Vista installation, to the contacts folder for his W7 install (c:\users\name\contacts I think) and they all show up there, but when in Windows Live Mail, the contacts don't show up at all, is there any way to import these easily? Just can't seem to get them imported or showing up at all!

Sadly Thunderbird isn't an option with him, don't ask, just can't tell some people can you!

But, any ideas?

If you hit 'Alt' in WLM then click Go > Contacts, then hit 'Alt' again and click File > Import, you can import contacts that way. Although copying and pasting into the \contacts folder should just work? :S

Easiest way is to sign in to the live mail profile.
