Windows live mail help

I have installed Windows 7 and noticed that Outlook Express is missing.
I have signed up with Windows Live and downloaded Windows mail.

I can receve messgaes OK but can't send as I get the error message

The server does not support a SSL connection.

Subject 'test'
Server Error: 250
Server Response: 250 8BITMIME
Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC7D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): Yes

Can anyone put me rigt on how to resolve this?

One other question is -can I download windows mail as was on Vista instead of using live mail?

No you can't, the Windows Live Essentials package takes the place of Mail and Movie Maker.
