All of a sudden today I've had about two dozen junk mails hit my regular inbox, all of them look very similar but are very obviously junk. All from different addresses which comprise of totally random characters, e.g. the most recent one is from: [email protected]

I've not changed any junk settings, I've had this same address for 10+ years and it's very rare that such obvious junk gets through to my inbox like this.

No point me adding them to blocked list as each one is from a totally random address.

Anyone else experiencing this? Wondering if it's a problem at Microsoft HQ with their servers.

Any ideas anyone? I've had about another 15 so far today, my Blackberry is beeping and flashing every few minutes it seems.

All the other junk I usually get is filtering nicely into the Junk folder within Hotmail, it's just stuff from these guys that's getting through to my Inbox. It's so obviously junk (subject line has random characters & symbols in, sender address is totally random each time, see original post) that I don't understand why Hotmail thinks it's legit and is allowing them all through?
