Windows live mail problem

I recently used with msn messenger with Windows Live Mail together, so everytime I click the inbox in messenger it automatically open the Live Mail for me.

I have just reinstalled the Win 7 and the Windows Live software. But this time everytime I click the inbox in messenger it just direct me to the hotmail web page.

Does anyone how to change it back to the old way, say open the Windows Live mail rather than the webpage?

Now, this happened to me... try opening the mail app, making sure all the details are set properly, then close it and try the mail button in messenger.

like what options I need to tick in Live Mail?

i just realised that if I wish to do that, I need to make sure the email account is the same both in msn and Live Mail.

Otherwise it will direct to the hotmail web page

I am going to reinstall my Live Mail and reset everything to see if it works

I just found out that there is a profile selection at the top right of the window for you to choose which msn messenger you wish to log on in MSN.
