Has anyone else experienced any problems with Windows Live Mail this afternoon?

I was in the middle of checking my emails, when I was suddenly presented with a Windows 8.1 (pale) BSOD informing me that I had a "Driver Power State Failure" and that my PC had run into a problem, and needed to restart, which it did immediately without any further intervention from me.

Once it had restarted I went back into Windows Live Mail to find that one of my two Email accounts (IMAP) on there had completely 'vanished' taking all my emails with it.

I was still able to access them through Webmail, but that wasn't really the point... the whole account had been deleted from Live Mail.

My PC is fairly new (under a year) with 16 GB of RAM on board, (spec. below) the BIOS is the latest one available, and this is the first time I have had any errors like this, so I am a bit puzzled what happened here.

Could Microsoft have been 'fine tuning' their email servers, ready for Windows 10 I wonder... or could that just be a red herring?

I checked mine so it worked fine still received emails. I use the latest Windows Live Mail 2012 Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331) so maybe you ran old version or Windows Live Mail files are corrupted?

Scan your hard drive for errors first then open File Explorer, go to folder below:

C:\Users\YourAccount\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

Is the root of folder above has 2 OEACCOUNT files which stored your 2 email accounts details?
