Has anyone else experienced any problems with Windows Live Mail this afternoon?
I was in the middle of checking my emails, when I was suddenly presented with a Windows 8.1 (pale) BSOD informing me that I had a "Driver Power State Failure" and that my PC had run into a problem, and needed to restart, which it did immediately without any further intervention from me.
Once it had restarted I went back into Windows Live Mail to find that one of my two Email accounts (IMAP) on there had completely 'vanished' taking all my emails with it.
I was still able to access them through Webmail, but that wasn't really the point... the whole account had been deleted from Live Mail.
My PC is fairly new (under a year) with 16 GB of RAM on board, (spec. below) the BIOS is the latest one available, and this is the first time I have had any errors like this, so I am a bit puzzled what happened here.
Could Microsoft have been 'fine tuning' their email servers, ready for Windows 10 I wonder... or could that just be a red herring?
