I used Windows Live Mesh a lot whereby if I was working on a document on my home PC, when I got to work and switched my laptop on, it would just sync immediately and I could carry on working where I left off. There was a one-to-one relationship between c:\Billdocs on my home PC and f:\Billdocs on my work laptop and any changes made would be reflected in the other. I'm finding SkyDrive doesn't work in the same manner and you have to copy files into a specific SkyDrive directory to get them to sync which is a bit useful for me. As an alternative, I bought 2 GoodSync licences thinking it would work in a similar method to Live Mesh but it appears that both "ends" need to be online in order for the sync to work which is even worse.
Is there a way to get Live Mesh-like functionality from SkyDrive or GoodSync, or anything else, to be honest? Thanks
