I want my Vista msn to look like my XP msn (the skin). How do I do this?

the skin is OS dependent...so you really cant make the Vista one look like the XP one...and if u ask me...the Vista one looks better

You can't. You can, however, reduce the border padding for all windows which trims it down a bit:
