I decided to give Live Messenger another bash so I d/l it and installed, only problem is I can't sign in 
It just keeps trying to sign in but nothing happens. Have they changed the ports since 7.5? If so I'll have to forget about it as I'm at work and I don't think the it guys will be happy with me for asking them to play about with the firewall jsut for messenger live

so I'm now back to 7.5, luckily I had a copy still otherwise it would have been a trek to find it on the MS site.
