windows live messenger problem

hi,

trying to get WLM to work with vista and a wired network, i can browse the web fine but WLM refuses to login, says contact network admin...

i have other machines on the same network that WLM work fine with... i also have another machine wired that works fine tooo?

anyone got any ideas?

yep it is

try turning off IP6 in your network settings (worked for me)

Are you the network admin or is there more beyond your responsibility such as a uni network etc?
