As thread title I'm having a problem with WLM. Basically my contacts can't send me invitations to view their webcam. They send me an invitation but the invitation never appears on my side. Also, when I try sending them an invitation to broadcast webcam they never get the invite and it just times out on my side as they haven't accepted, obviously because the notification hasn't shown on their side.
I'm using Windows 7 64bit and the newest release of Messenger, as far as I know everything is enabled and should be working without issue, I've allowed Messenger access through Windows firewall, I do have Microsoft Security Essentials running in the background if that makes a difference, although I see no program specific options in Security Essentials anyway, so it shouldn't be that. I've uninstalled Messenger and reinstalled but the issue still remains.
I must note that I downloaded aMSN on my MacBook and that works with webcam fine although it has a horrific interface and feels really nasty to use, so I'm guessing it's probably not a port forwarding problem.
Any ideas?
