Windows live messenger

Hi does anyone know if there is any other way of sending a message without hitting "enter" on the keyboard.

the old version had the "send" button you could hit with the mouse.

I don't think there is a way.. you could download A-Patch to check out if it has the option to add the send button.

On a similar note. Is anyone else getting the Transformers ROTF advert popping up on their screen when running live messenger?

EDIT: I don't think A patch adds a send button back in

Yes, that Ad is annoying the hell out of me! Especially seen as it shows on a different screen to where MSN is!

yeah i get it all the time :eek:

installed that A-patch, no option to install the send button

BUT

gives you the option to remove all (or selected adds that pop up along the bottom and up the side)

Yep.. cool patch..

I also get that Transformers Ad.. annoying as hell.. as it overlays everything..

I have disabled adverts using A-Patch but the transformers one is getting through.

Same, its really annoying.. the only way I can see to actually close it is sign out and sign back in.

The new WLMs grown on me, and I do rather like it now. I've been getting that transfrmers ad though, even with apatch.

I upgraded to the new one for the first time in like 2/3 years and it crashes on startup all the time. =x Has even screwed up the other installations, doesn't make any difference if I reinstall or clean registry etc.... sigh!

Regarding this transformers ad, ive been annoyed by it too, and this forum seems to be the only one talking about it. Ive tried adding

Code:

127.0.0.1 www.transformersgame.com

to my hosts file. Will only work if they host the actual ad.... but worth a shot. I dont know how to find the location of the actual ad itself.
