An heads up for anyone not yet acquainted with the service.

The service currently offers 1GB storage, with a maximum upload file size of 50MB.

The SkyDrive service utilizes Windows Live ID to limit access to the files the user has uploaded, allowing them to keep the files private, share with contacts, or make the files public. Publicly-shared files do not require a Windows Live ID to access.

Up to five files can be uploaded each time. Optionally, an ActiveX tool can be installed to allow drag-and-drop uploading from Windows Explorer.

And good job WinRAR can split things into 50meg chunks.

Hmm...I hope that it's an active X tool that actually loads and runs unlike stupid ******* facebook's photo one..

I use gmail myself, use a program to encrypt and upload data to it

anyone know where you can get that activeX control that lets you upload things in windows explorer? it says it can be done, but i cant find it.
