huzzah!!! i've finally got this system to post and get into BIOS (using an old pci graphics card mind) and it looks okay, however i can't seem to see my dvd drive in the list of ide's, and my hard drive shows up as a ide rather than sata?!?

Anyway i thought i would try and start windows and loaded the cd into the drive and when i get past the post it displays a small flashing cursor then comes up with this message...

reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

spec in sig, but motherboard is now a8r32-mvp

okay so i managed to sort it by using another cd drive instead. Once i started the windows setup i pressed f6 to install the 3rd party drivers for the sata drive as i was under the assumption that they would be on the xp disc, but no such luck, so now it's asking for the drivers..

has anyone any idea where i can get them from to fit onto a floppy disc mind, or can they go on a usb stick???
