Hi

Samsung 930BF/WIN XP Pro/SP2

I have never installed the samsung drivers that came with my monitor, the default windows worked fine, I decided to give the samsung drivers a bash, noticing no difference only the fact it does not allow a refresh rate higher than 60hz I can use 75hz with win xp drivers(some games I play, play better with vsync, so 75hz is what I use)

Anyway, windows now keeps on looking for the samsung drivers upon boot up, is there any way that I can disable this?

Thanks

open device manager
right click your monitor
select update driver
"install from a specific location (advanced)"
"don't search, i will choose a driver to install"
select "plug & play monitor"
click next then finish. :)
