Windows Lowering Frequency/Overriding BIOS

This is going to be my first post, in this wonderful forum :) And I have a feeling it's going to be a long one!

First of all the problem that I am having, is that even though my CPU shows up as overclocked (on all 6 cores) in the Bios, When I log into windows and open up monitoring software. It only shows as 1 core is actually overclocked.

I strongly believe that the monitoring software is correct! I also believe that it is windows that is causing this to happen. >> Monitoring used: Core Temp, Cpu Z.

I have stressed tested the Cpu (prime95 and a few others) To see whether or not this will allow all the cores to run at 100% under load, this does not happen and they all stay the same.

I have configured boot options to select all 6 cores, and then unchecked to let it decide itself, EVERYTHING that needs to be turned off in Bios is (such as cool and quite, C1E and so on) Basically I have tryed all the none working things that people have put up around the internet.

When I use Amd Overdrive to overclock, All 6 cores jump straight up and I have my stable 4 Ghz overclock <<< This is what strongly suggests that it is windows somehow (if even possible) that is overriding the bios settings or atleast tampering with them to stop all cores being overclocked.

My Cpu is the Amd 1090t and my motherboard is a gigabyte 970a-udp3, Like i said earlier the clocks I am aiming for are stable I have plenty of power, they are not thermal throttling, there is no overheating issues(when overclocked)

I hope I have explained ok!! And I hope some one has had this problem and resolved it.

Thanks to anyone who can help would be much appreciated :)

Ok I actually solved this problem on my own. When overclocking on this board and using the multiplier, it only overclocks 1 core, when using the bus it overclocks all. Have no idea why this is, but I'm taking it it's not normal. Anyway hope this helps others out who were having the same problem
