Windows Marquee Screensaver Prompting for Password

Hi,

Strange problem this...

I have 2 PC's which have a Marquee Screensaver configured. Twice today on returning to the PC the user is being prompted for the Password to login even though the 'On resume, display logon screen' is Disabled.

Has anyone come across this before and if so how did you fix it?

The real annoying thing is that the PC's are Touch Screen Tills and therefore don't have a keyboard connected meaning I need to remote connect each time to log the operator in.

try changing to another screen saver eg blank screen , see if that fixes it.

IF it is a domain PC , then group policy could override your settings
