Hi,
This probably could have gone in the home cinema forum but I thought here would capture a larger audience.
I have W7 x64, I use MC and I use MP-HC as the playback method setup via Media Browser / Meta Browser.
I know that there are a fair few people with similar setups here.
I use the latest builds of MPC-HC and see now that I have no need for Codec packs etc, BluRays play fine, MKVs play fine etc.
2 things annoy me: Regardless of the guides I see on the internet, I can't get the remote to work properly when playing through MPC-HC. If I make the changes in the guides, MPC will load fullscreen but I will have no control over it whatsoever, it has a blue seek bar along the bottom, my keyboard works, but only to press CTRL ALT DEL, the mouse does nothing.
Also, If I put a BD in, WMC says that no compatible player is installed. Technically, that's a lie as MPC-HC can handle them. I do have TMT3 but have not installed it this time around as I don't actually need it. Is there a way to spoof WMC to see that MPC-HC is the BD player?
