Noticed the WMC on Windows 7 has Sky Player listed as coming soon.

My laptop has Vista HP and WMC on that has no section for Sky Player.

Anyone know when Sky Player is going to be available within WMC - also is it just Windows 7 that it will be available on or will Vista get it aswell.

Think its just Win7

Just tried to use it, i get either an MF1 or an MF2 error when i try to watch anything :(

What a load of pants!

Getting an MF3 error now, bloody brilliant :(

Agggh, SkyPlayer has wiped my freeview guide and channels !?

am i guessing you need to have had a tv tuner installed and setup first to get this option? im using win7 ultimate and hp on a couple of machines neither has sky option, im a sky broadband unlimited and also a sky tv subscriber :(

It just appeared one day on my system - it's set to auto install updates and the like.

I watched a demo clip, the quality is good, but i wouldn't pay £15/month for it - seems very expensive for what you get.

I guess it would be good if you were already a Sky subscriber and had other systems in other rooms etc.

I had to add a country code key into the registery somewhere, I guess it is becuase I used the MAPS media to install it. After that I think it came down on a windows update (or was already downloaded but not enabled).

Had it about 2 weeks now - was just showing the MC to someone visiting and it still showed as "coming soon", when I went into it is was all working, and then the icon on the main interface changed.

Pretty good for what it is - but expensive if you don't have a Sky subscription - but it's going to save me some cash as I'll use this instead of paying for Multiroom in one room.
